Hey thanks for the very kind mention once more. My brother emailed me with some extra memories of the Jag after he saw the blog posting, and I'm planning to attach them as a postscript on the blog - just waiting for his OK on doing that. It certainly was a car with a stack of good memories attached, some of them a bit too dangerous for the modern Nanny State world!
Speaking of nanny state: When I was a kid, we had an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme coupe with a front bench seat. During long road trips to Vegas, my mom and step-dad would switch seats (driver to passenger) while going 60 mph. That was nuts!
