Agreed on Honda. my wife's family has had a 1983Accord, 1993 Civic(wife's first car sold 7 years later at 1/2 the value of her purchase price) EX, 1995 Accord EX, 2001 Odyssey(I bought off of them when I had my twins), 2008 Odyssey, and my wife just purchased a 2008 CRV. There is a degree of appreciation of how well these vehicles are assembled and the engineering behind them. I have found with few exceptions that these are easy to work on, have very tractable and communicative steering, and are ridiculously reliable.

ReplyDelete@MattC: If I were in the market for a replacement vehicle, I'd totally consider the TSX wagon except for the ugly grill and the lack of a stick shift.
