Last Friday was the Foreign Service Exam. Had things worked out differently 18 years ago (thanks for rejecting me, Georgetown School of Foreign Service), I would have taken the test and (hopefully) be the gopher to the assistant to the head of the Central Asia desk by now.

ReplyDeleteUmmm ... isn't the 6th Amendment also about Due Process? I mean, the 14th specifically requires states to comply with the Due Process requirements of the Bill of Rights, including the 6th Amendment right to a speedy trial. The question does not specify whether we are in Federal or state court. Am I missing something here?
