The first three are from Japan. Irmscher apparently is a German aftermarket tuner. The last ad is from America, starring Joe Isuzu. The Japanese and American advertising strategies were disparate, to say the least.
It was my first car. I wasn't fond of it when I had it but now I'm very nostalgic about it. There's a book written by two Tasmanians called In Search of the Holden Piazza where they drive around Australia looking for the few remaining Holden Piazzas. Great read.
Don't worry. Japan has their share of nutcase ad agencies trying to make their impact too.
