Carspotting (3): Mercedes-Benz 230SL (W113)

The Pagoda Roofed W113 is perhaps one of my favorite Mercedes two seaters. This example was particularly loved and (ab)used. Talk about patina. My cast iron frying pan has more sheen than this Merc. Everything seems original and it looks like it's been serving as a daily driver since it rolled off the assembly line in Stuttgart in the mid-60s.
