The 1980s, for toy makers, can be summed up in one word-- robots. Kids who grew up back then have all contemplated the following earth-shattering issues, but likely never articulated them to the rest of society. I am here to help.

1. GoBots sucked and paled in comparison to Transformers.


2. How did Megatron, a regular sized gun, transform into a robot the size of Optimus Prime (a big rig tractor)?


3. Autobot Jetfire was a clear rip-off of Robotech's VF-1 Valkyrie fighter.


4. The vehicle Voltron was superior to the lion Voltron because it did not make sense to make robots out of lions.
