Goldfinger (1964) Chase Four

This scene can best be described as the switcheroo.

After attending the Fort Knox presentation at Goldfinger's estate in Kentucky, Mr. Solo opts out of the plan. His $1 million in gold is returned to him and loaded up into the back of a Lincoln Continental. Oddjob is to take Solo and the gold to the airport.

Felix Leiter and his CIA co-worker track the Continental in their Ford product, a Thunderbird.

Oddjob pulls the Continental, with a recently expired Mr. Solo, into Atlantic Iron & Metal Co.'s metal scrapyard. The car, gold, and Mr. Solo are crushed into a compact cube and loaded onto the bed of another Ford-- this time, a powder blue Ford Ranchero pick-up truck. Never mind the laws of physics, which tell us that the little Ranchero cannot possibly carry the almost four-ton cube.

Leiter and pal lose the location of the Continental after it has been crushed. Mission not accomplished.
